The program

EWB’s project history with CVS Pharmacy runs from a major distribution center in La Habra (2013) through a continuing stream of store-level work: pharmacy expansions and relocations, ADA upgrades, and multi-store refresh clusters running concurrently across California and Nevada — with active projects on the current work-in-progress list from Los Angeles to Henderson.

Why pharmacy work is its own discipline

Drugstore construction combines regulated space (secure storage, dispensing areas, state board requirements), operating-store logistics, and program cadence — many small, fast projects that must all land clean. It rewards a contractor who can run a cluster of small, fast store projects with the same documentation discipline as a distribution center.

The relationship

CVS appears in EWB’s client references with a named director of construction — the kind of reference that only exists after years of repeat program work. Decades of drugstore and pharmacy experience is a core of the Retail sector team’s 2,500-project history.
